The choir got off to a fast and early start as we Kicked Off our new year of activities on Sept 10.
Our big focus for the next month will be the joint Reformation Service on Oct 29, at Peace, Pickering. We have started work on 2 pieces for the service, one of which is Luther’s A Mighty Fortress. Singers from the other 4 congregations in the GTA area conference will be joining us for this celebration service. We hope to see many congregation members at that service.
After that, we will be looking at Christmas music. We have decided to not participate in the Concert of Carols at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church this year. However, there is a special service in the works – stay tuned for updates.
